Caplan Inc.
A Soul
A few years ago my brothers and I were trying to find something fun, when Ben said, "Let's make a business, and call it ... umm ... Caplan Inc."
My other brother and I liked it. We cooked up some contracts, we did extra chores to get the starting money, and things were looking great.
Then the fights began. Fights that lasted for hours. They were about the contracts, or the money, or the something. It is not important.
Caplan Inc. seemed to dissolve. For years the three of us considered it over, the contracts gone. But then I stumbled on to it. I realized that the money and the contract don't matter, I realized that Caplan Inc. was a title of the bond the me and my brothers share. There is no need for paper or any thing else for that matter, to keep the bond strong.
Caplan Inc. lives on.
